N.12461.EVN and N.12467.EVN to N.12501.EVN came from the envelope C252/4/ which was found inside the box now marked C252/.

Place: The Place field was previously recorded as being “Africa; South Africa”, but matching this to a series taken in the same place, P.7336.ACH1 - P.7341.ACH1 shows that it was taken at Henley, KwaZulu-Natal in 1905. The Place and Date fields have been amended accordingly. [JD 11/7/2012]

Expedition / Collector: This photograph was taken during a wedding, which the BAAS conference group visited on the 25th August 1905. The wedding was between the chief, Mhlola of the Nadi, and a commoner bride.
