Other Information

The negative comes from a cardboard box numbered C68/1/. This was in a wooden box formerly numbered 170, now re-numbered C68/.

Place: The Place field was previously recorded as being "Asia; Far East; Asia; East Asia; ?China", but the next negative in the series, N.11103, is annotated as ‘Inyanga’, an archaeological Iron Age site in Zimbabwe. This landscape image is consistent with Inyanga. Archeaology fieldwork is also consistent with the names Randall MacIver, Arthur Evans, and A.C. Haddon (see bibliographical reference). The Place field has been amended accordingly. [Source: The Oxford Companion to Archaeology, JD 11/8/2009]
