Place: This Place field was previously recorded as being “Europe; ?England”, but Giant bamboo (Dendrocalamus giganteus) is native to Indonesia, amongst others, and with the men’s clothing, this is the probably location. The Duplicate negative, N.78311.ACH2, is annotated as being ‘Java’. The Place field has been amended accordingly. [JD 25/10/2008]
