"Single outrigger canoes.
This distinctive type of outrigger attachment begins at Tupuselei and extends to Aroma. Typically there are forked booms. Each attachment consists of two vertical stick-connectives, one on each side of the fork of a boom, to which they are lashed, sometimes the upper ends of the sticks are lashed together.
