Group of fifteen men plus men standing in a canoe. Each man wears an assortment of adornment: cassowary feather headress, shell valuables on their heads, arms, around their necks, and covering their pubic area, as well as bark belts around their waists. Each holds a paddle. [Joshua Bell 06/01/2004]

Date: Hurley reached the village of Kerewa on Goaribari island in early January 1923, where he stayed taking photographs and collecting objects for several days.
