Place: The Place field was previously recorded as being “Oceania Polynesia; ?Tonga”, but there are no rivers in Tonga, and it does not look like the inlets at Vava’u. It is more likely to have been taken in Fiji or Samoa. The man at the rear of the boat looks more Fijian, but the man at the front is dressed in the Tongan or Samoan style.
