On Catalogue Card: “Weaving a Navajo rug in summer Hogan.” [typed text]

A Navajo woman weaving a rug on an upright loom in a summer hogan (literally 'place home'). A completed rug is hanging over the top strut of the loom, and balls of wool are hanging from lower struts. A lamb is standing beside the loom, and a second woman is spinning using a spindle in the background. [JD 16/4/2007]
