Full-length frontal portrait of a young Jicarilla Apache chief, Guerito (Man with Yellow Hair), wearing a feather? head ornament, hoop ear ornaments, bead neck ornament, dentalium? shell and bead chest ornament, buckskin shirt with porcupine? quill embroidery and fringing, and a blanket with porcupine? quill embroidery as a blanket. The studio is decorated with a curtain to the right.
