On Catalogue Card: “Ruined house taken from interior looking towards front door, which can be seen on left. Before the use of white man’s tools the longitudinal beams were round instead of as here seen. The three pinnacles above the front wall are not found on other houses; there are five of them in all, representing the five peaks of Mt. Nusk 1st where the family of the owner originated. May, 1922.” [typed text]
