Midewiwin lodge possibly at Berens River?. [Sherry Farrell Racette, JD 8/5/2007]
A Midewiwin performance, Whitefish River, Lac Seul; consisting of a group of people moving around within a ‘Grand Medicine Lodge’. The Lodge consists of a wooden framework with a canvas? backing on one side, and branches hung over a low beam on the side nearer the camera. In the background are two canvas ridge pole tents.
