On Catalogue Card: "A typical Bushman dressed for a ceremonial dance. Head-band decorated with buttons made from animal bones, with Steinbok horn in centre. He wears leg rattles of dried sheaths of wild beans and carries switch of wildebeeste’s tail and staff carved by himself. Skin bag banging from shoulder carries all his possessions. 1936" [typed text, circa 1935]
