Description
On Catalogue Card: “A fish shrine, Mer.”
View of Sorkar, a fish shrine, relating to tup or sardine fishing, on the shore line of Mer at low tide. The larger curved stone is Sorkar, and the flat rock leaning against it is an anchor thrown down by Malu’s canoes. In the background is a reef bed and in the distance the islands of Waier and Dauar.
