On Catalogue Card: “Circular dance, Las (Malu).”

Shore scene showing a group of men in a circle, some moving around the circle with one arm outstretched, others at the centre standing. They wear calico (wrap around cloth) and have feathered ornaments on their heads. In the background is a forested hill, at the point where the forest meets the sand are ?four men lying crouched on the beach. To one side a tall bamboo fence. On the left a man, Ontong, is standing dressed in trousers, coat and cloth hat. [Jude Philp 26/5/1999]
