Other Information
Named Person: Haddon met Gododo in 1888. He became a source of much information for the Expedition members, particularly for choreography and music. He appears in both 1888 and 1898 photographs (e.g. P.1151.ACH1). [Jude Philp 19/3/1999]
Context: This type of photograph served the dual purpose of being a momento/studio portrait for the sitter and a record of the sitter for the physical anthropological and ethnographic work of the Expedition; some portraits were taken in exchange for assistance with psychological testing (Myers 1898).
