On Catalogue Card: “Round house, 2 women, Mer.”

A round thatch ‘beehive’ house with a woman, wearing a grass skirt, two children, and a second woman, seated and breastfeeding a baby, in front. At the entrance of the house are two large branches stuck into the sand and supporting fuscus shells and baskets. Behind the house are palm trees and bush.
