Place: The LMS actively encouraged the people of Mer and Dauar to live in proximity to the church. As a result many people came and settled in village clusters along the North western coast. Haddon refers to the ‘new’ road which parrallels the line of houses along the shore. [Jude Philp 17/3/1999]
