Other Information

Related Archive: Haddon writes of his brief trip to Tudu but does not specifically mention this image, instead noting:
“Tuesday Oct. 24. We made an early start and anchored off Tutu (Warrior I.) in the forenoon as I wanted to go over the old religious sites with Maino once more. No one lives on the island now and the old sites are overgrown with bush and most of the old stones are removed or broken up - it was most disappointing & I was able to add only a very little to my previous information.” (1898, p.254) [JD 17/5/2011]
