Context (Amendments / updates)
Two metal objects were found in the group of objects boxed as 2006.19 A-C. Both were marked C. The entry of 'metal objects (?)' is not nearly descriptive enough to determine if one of these metal objects has been miss-marked or there should be another object that is marked B currently not accounted for (A is also slate). The two metal objects have been assigned idnos C.1 and C.2. If B is found amend that record to reflect its location. If one of the Cs is found to be the true B, amend one of those records.

Context (Amendments / updates)
The Source field notes Percy Newberry who surveyed Tel el Amarna in the 1890s and returned in the 1930s. However there is no written information to accompany this object and so both these field should be taken with a pinch of salt. A large number of objects have been incorrectly attributed to both.
