Catalogue card handwritten in black ink reads, 'Armlet. / Made from human hair, used at corroborees. Diameter 4 1/2", has been coloured white with pipeclay. / [black ball point pen; different hand] "Wide armlets circular & painted oval, made of bark fibre of human hair on a wooden foundation, two have pendants of human hair" (accession book)'.
