Description

Rectangular tiered wooden box in three parts, possibly used as apothecary's pill-making or game box. The sliding lid and one sliding compartment on top of bottom compartment are secured by copper alloy clasp attached by a hinge to the base of box on one narrow side and secured with a hook to a fastening on the lid. Each compartment consists of semi-spherical cavities arranged in regular rows. Lid marked with circular and cross-shaped incisions.
