Description
An oblong wooden box for writing materials with hinged lid and key hole, decorated with geometrical patterns carved on lid and all four sides of the box. The letters "S G" are carved on one side of the box. The inside of the box is partitioned into four segments, one with a metal insert, described as pewter ink pot in the accession register. The inside of the lid and partitions are lined with orange-red coloured paper. The underside of the box is covered in green woollen woven cloth.
