Context (Field collection)
Part of the bequest of Cambridge Anthropologist Jack Herbert Driberg. Known for his work in East Africa, Driberg was born in Assam in 1888, the son of John James Street Driberg, Indian Civil Service Officer. It is thought therefore that the collection from Northeast India was acquired by John Driberg or other members of the family in the late 19th century.
