Description
Apa'apai. Wooden club with five horizontal bands, the top four pf which are incised not raised. Finely carved with ideograms representing human figures holding clubs and possibly juggling, as well as plants, birds and other shapes which may represent kava bowls and headrests. Plain shaft and pierced lug at base (damaged).
