Context (Amendments / updates)
One bamboo container and 17 parcels of seeds and spices were found without an Accession number in a World unprovenanced box. It is highly likely that they relate to samples of local medicine collected by Skeat in Malaysia and accessioned at MAA under Z 34048, Z 41828 and Z 41829. The individual parcels are numbered from 1-16 (one additional blank one), so the decision was taken to apply the suffix A to the container and B.1-17 to the parcels, following the numbers already marked on them.
