Context (Amendments / updates)
The hammer was found without identification in a world unprovenanced box. It was originally thought to be from the Pacific but is now understood to be from India and possibly collected by Pawsey (see similar historic labels on 1943.148, 1943.151 and Z 18180 A). It has been assigned a temporary number, TEMP.03782.
