Context (Amendments / updates)
A few feather fragments were found in a bag in conservation drawers moved from Shorts to the CMC. The feathers are green and iridescent, and since they came from Shorts are likely to have become detached from a South American object. With feathers of matching size and colour, only three records have a conservation cleaning note: E 1902.218.1-3, 1956.91.1-3 and Z 19078 A. Other possibilities are E 1898.43, E 1902.242, 1946.275 B, Z 11340 B, Z 11344, Z 11350 A-B, Z 47005 A-B or Z 47006 A-B. It is unlikely to be possible to definitely match the fragments back up, so they have now been assigned a temp number, TEMP.03779.
