Medium sized basket with banded V-shaped designs in yellow and dark brown, interspaced by elliptical designs edged with dark brown, yellow inside with a red centre.

The catalogue card states the baskets were " made by Klickitat Indian woven of cedar roots and " squa" grass." The Klickitat Indians come from the interior of Washington State. A small old label for E 1898.40 B was found wrapped with basket 1924.688 B, it has been placed with its original basket. (G.Crowther).
