Gerald Rumble, object collector, worked for Anglo Ecuadorian Oilfields at Anćon, in the modern province of Santa Elena, between 1922 and 1960. Sharing a house with Geoffrey Bushnell in the 1920s, Gerald would accompany him on some of his excavations at La Libertad.
