Description for 1974.279[.1-9]: 'There are three ring brooches with pins present. One plain, one small decorated with ridges and ?animal heads, one has been made in two parts, a flat back ring with an openwork ring adherred to the top, the pin is shaped like a sword.
One buckle, decorated with triangles, this is marked, "Fengate, Pboro.". One flat piece of bronze decorated with lines and circles, use unknown, this is marked "Waternewtion Hunts".
Four belt tags, one is square decorated with incised lines to form a chequer board. Label attached: "Belt tag found Long Causeway Peterborough. 1913.". One is square with a leaf projection at the bottom and it has got two iron rivets still in position. Old label attached: "Belt tag found Long Causeway Peterborough. 1913. In moat marked M=Maria once plated". The third belt tag is plain. The fourth belt tag is u-shaped and is decorated with diagonal ladder shapes and lines forming a rope effect, one side has got pierced circles on the inside edge of the 'u'. K. Sutton 4/7/2001.
