Context (Analysis)
According to Jeffrey M. Mitchem ('The West and Central Florida Expeditions of Clarence B. Moore', 1999, p. 28), the site which is now known as 'Addison's Key (site code 8CR35) was the one which Moore visited in 1900 and 1904 and referred to as the 'nameless shell Key, near Marco' (Moore, 1905 p. 311). It is not currently known whether Moore collected this object in his 1900 or 1904 expeditions.
