Context (Analysis)
According to Jeffrey M. Mitchem ('The West and Central Florida Expeditions of Clarence B. Moore', 1999, p. 8), the site which Moore described as the 'Mound near Punta Rassa' is now known as 'Shell Creek' (site code 8LL8), and the Place field has been updated accordingly. Mitchem gives the date of the site as Caloosahatchee III-V, which as been added to the Period field.
