Context (Other)
This arrowhead was found stored with 1923.995 A-B, two arrowheads from Maryland, and is itself marked '23.995'. However this is an error, as the Accession Register for 1923.995 does not record a third arrowhead and because the object is marked in black ink '1916.SS' referring to the 1916 Student Series of local finds. This series was not properly entered in the Accession Register: it was given the number 1916.82 in Accession Register 11 and the number 1916.210.1-107 in Accession Register 4, and both have been erratically used. The correct number of this object, and its findspot, are unknown and it has therefore been assigned a TEMP number.
