Context (Amendments / updates)
The accession register and annual report document four pins (A-D) for accession 1900.493. However, a total of six pins (four mounted together on hardboard and two separate) have been located, each associated with a label marked ‘1900.493’. One is currently accessioned as 1900.493 D. The decision has been made to assign a TEMP number to the remaining five pins, as it is currently unclear which of these objects belong to the original 1900.493 A-D accession.
