Context (Related Documents)
A loose label found in box with fragments reads 'Not numbered + Not illustrated (not this hoard?)'

Context (Found together / assemblage)
The fragments were found stored with the Green End Hoard. However the loose label (see Context) suggests that there is question over its provenance and may not be part of this hoard. The Place field has only tentatively been filled. Further investigation needs to be carried to determine if this is part of the same hoard or not. If it were the same group the Source field would be 'Cambridge Antiquarian Society [monetary donor]' however without certainty this has been left blank at present.
