Context (Amendments / updates)
When the Mexican archaeology collection was re-packed for storage in 1985 the objects were assessed by Mary Hill Harris and other museum colleagues, then boxed according to period. This object was packed with Pre-Columbian/Pre-Hispanic and the Period field has now been updated accordingly; the Period field previously read Preclassic; Classic; Postclassic; Aztec; Toltec.
