Description (Physical description)
Rim sherd from polychrome vessel, with direct pointed rim, decorated on interior with red slip, exterior with black and white painted decoration on red slip. Surfaces polished, material brown in colour with very dark grey core.

Context (Amendments / updates)
When the Mexican archaeology collection was re-packed for storage in 1985 the objects were assessed by Mary Hill Harris and other museum colleagues, then boxed according to period. This object has been marked with the letter 'A' in pencil, which for other parts of this idno has indicated 'Aztec', the period field has been updated accordingly.
