Sherd, of spout from red slipped vessel. Spout appears to have been made from two pieces, with cylindrical piece sitting inside the long pinched out side of a vessel. Exterior surface polished and with red slip, possibly also traces of decoration in black paint. Material grey with matching core.

Context (Amendments / updates)
When the Mexican archaeology collection was re-packed for storage in 1985 the objects were assessed by Mary Hill Harris and other museum colleagues, then boxed according to period. This object has been marked with the letter 'A' in pencil, which for other parts of this idno has indicated 'Aztec', the period field has been updated accordingly.
