Geoffrey Bushnell recorded the 'Finder's note' on the catalogue card: 'Found on a small table-land overlooking the Tulija River, a few km. above Ixtalja (on a line between Tumbala and Palenque. Ixtalja is over the ridge from Cuctiepa, the site of some unexplored ruins).'

Small axe made from red-brown stone; incomplete. Truncated lens cross-section with one side flat, the other is semi-rounded. Curved butt end and cutting edge; the latter now incomplete.
