Description

Twenty nine (29) undecorated sherds.
(I): twenty six light grey and buff ware sherds, possibly from one or more vessels, possibly globular with a rounded base.
(II): three mixed sherds, possibly from three distinct vessels; first sherd is burnished brown, with a simple everted rim; second sherd is broadly four-sided, grey ware with one yellow-slipped side; third sherd is broadly triangular, fabric surface has a reddish hue and a grey core.

Context (Amendments / updates)
When the Kechib:wa collection was packed for storage in c 1986 the pottery was assessed by museum staff and boxed according to type. These sherds were packed with rough ware material, which has now been added to the Description field.
