Description

Four late polychrome rim sherds, of which two connect. The two connecting sherds are shouldered with tapering base and everted rim, with cream slip and brown slip decoration of bands, lines and triangles on the interior and lines on the external rim. One is orange with everted rim, small spout with open top and brown slip lines in diagonal on the exterior and horizontal bands on the interior. The fourth sherd is large with four vertical lines on the exterior and shapes of red and dark purple on the interior, burnished.

Context (Amendments / updates)
When the Kechib:wa collection was packed for storage in c 1986 the pottery was assessed by museum staff and boxed according to type. These sherds were packed with polychrome bowl material, which has now been added to the Description field.
