Description (Physical description)
Seven sherds, four are refitting; possibly from one or more Matsaki Polychrome shouldered jars. Everted simple rim; tapering neck; high carination at body. Surface is tan-slipped; exterior surface has applied reddish brown paint in geometric motifs, including key motifs; fissure cracks throughout pigment surface; fabric feel is powdery, with a grey core.

Context (Amendments / updates)
When the Kechib:wa collection was packed for storage in c 1986 the pottery was assessed by museum staff and boxed according to type. These sherds were packed with Matsaki Polychrome material, which has now been added to the Description field.
