Description

Fifteen sherds, mostly from different Concepcion Polychrome vessels and one rough ware sherd. All rim sherds; tan and white slip; decorated with geometric motifs on the exterior with matte-paint pigments in different shades of red, dark brown, and black. Two with interior decoration in similar design and polychrome. One sherd is reconstructed from smaller sherds.

Context (Amendments / updates)
When the Kechib:wa collection was packed for storage in c 1986 the pottery was assessed by museum staff and boxed according to type. These sherds were packed with Concepcion Polychrome material, which has now been added to the Description field.
