Description

45 sherds of Kechipaun glaze polychrome, likely all from a single large vessel. Of fine buff fabric, the exterior is largely red slip; a white band around the upper body with black depicts sections of diagonal lines, rectangles and dots.

Context (Amendments / updates)
When the Kechib:wa collection was packed for storage in c 1986 the pottery was assessed by museum staff and boxed according to type. These sherds were packed with Kechipauan glaze polychrome material, which has now been added to the Description field.
