Description

Incomplete Kechipauan Polychrome Glaze pot, three sherds present. With rounded body, upright neck and simple rim, it is painted white with green crosses on the rime; the body has decoration of triangles and cross-hatching in green, with some red rectangles.

Context (Amendments / updates)
When the Kechib:wa collection was packed for storage in c 1986 the pottery was assessed by museum staff and boxed according to type. These sherds were packed with Kechipauan glaze polychrome material, which has now been added to the Description field.
