Description

Eight Heshotauthla Polychrome sherds; two rims and the rest are body sherds likely from bowls. Six feature decoration on both sides; red slip with geometric motifs in black glaze on the interior, and white line designs on the exterior. Two have interior decoration in black glaze.

Context (Amendments / updates)
When the Kechib:wa collection was packed for storage in c 1986 the pottery was assessed by museum staff and boxed according to type. These sherds were packed with Heshota-Uthla Glaze Polychrome material, which has now been added to the Description field.
