Description
Sixteen sherds of at least 7 different vessels. Mostly from polychrome bowls and jars decorated on the exterior and interior in tan slip with geometric motifs in red, black and dark brown matte pain and glaze. Seven sherds likely from a rough ware. White accretions throughout the surface.

Found with Skeleton 124, Trench I. The sherds were all mixed up together. Excavated by Samuel K. Lothrop, Museum of the American Indian, and Louis Clarke, Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, as part of the Louis C.G. Clarke Kechipauan Expedition, 19 June – 1 September 1923. When the Kechib:wa collection was packed for storage in c 1986 the pottery was assessed by museum staff and boxed according to type. These sherds were packed with Late Polychrome material.
