Description

One incomplete polychrome jar; possibly a Matsaki Polychrome fragmented in 8 sherds. Sherds correspond mostly to the upper part of a jar. White slip in the interior of neck and rim; in the exterior features a tan slip and it is decorated with matte paint in red and dark brown.

Context (Analysis)
When the Kechib:wa collection was packed for storage in c 1986 the pottery was assessed by museum staff and boxed according to type. These sherds were packed with Late Polychrome material.
