Description
Red ware mould made pottery figurine with white, black and blue pigment used to add detail and wearing headdress with two entirely blue birds atop which protrude slightly. Headdress extends to ears and has a uniform sub-rectangular texture. Facial features of mouth and nose are visible, as are blue ear spools and black pigment around shoulders and chest. Two lumps are present on chest, possibly representing breasts or neck adornment. Figure wears a long tunic with dotted texture on. Arms held at their sides and feet protrude out at bottom. Pigment is much worn and cracking visible in one of the birds.
