Description
Red ware mould made pottery figurine wearing large headdress with two protruding birds on. Figurine has blue, white, red and black pigment used to add detail. Blue birds atop a headdress which extends to ears, birds are blue and white, have eyes painted on, and have evident beaks, wings and tails. Facial features are largely absent although nose is prominent. Figure wears a long white tunic with textured bumps on their legs, and have blue ear and neck adornment. Two lumps are visible either side of neck adornment, possibly representing breasts. Figure's arms are covered in white pigment and next to body, feet protrude out at bottom of figure. One bird on headdress has been reattached using an adhesive, chipping on toe.
