Mauchline or tartan ware circular contained with lid containing purple velvet pin cushion. Wood with red and green tartan veneer, lid loose. Base has flared rim around bottom decorated with gold zigzag band; same band runs vertically on three sides. 'McBeth' in gold lettering on lid side.
